KL Grady is one of those obnoxious writers who penned her first novel in utero. At least that’s how family legend has it.
In reality, KL wrote for fun while she pursued her bachelor’s degree in the ever-exciting field of computer science. She realized after a few years of getting her geek on that she had to go back to grad school. Alas, the thought of an ungodly two years of computer science made her want to don a tangerine unitard and perform interpretive dance in front of city hall for quarters (or lattes). She feared for the sanity of those who might see her in her darkest hour, so she chose to pursue an MFA at Seton Hill University in the Writing Popular Fiction program. She keeps a teaching portfolio at Automagic Writing.
She’s currently working on an Old South steampunk romance.
